An article by Hiroshi Yagi, representative of OMUTSU Delivery and a physical therapist, was published in the August–September 2026 issue of the specialist journal Home-Visit Rehabilitation (訪問リハビリテーション), Volume 16, No. 3, overall issue 93, released on 15 August 2026.

The issue’s feature is “Living in the Community with Internal Organ Impairments.” Yagi contributed “Living in the Community with Bladder and Bowel Dysfunction: Supporting Daily Life through Diapers and the Toileting Environment.”

The article considers community living for people with bladder and bowel dysfunction from the perspectives of diapers and toileting environments. We hope it offers an opportunity to reflect on everyday continence support and ways to help people continue living in familiar communities.

We will continue sharing information on continence support that considers each person’s physical condition and living environment, alongside how to choose and use diapers.
