Background
After approximately four years in healthcare and care settings as a physiotherapist, he moved into the adult diaper sector. Through experience including diaper deliveries under local government supply programs, he learned about differences between products and the importance of selection suited to each user.
In 2016, he established OMUTSU Delivery, an adult diaper delivery business, in Osaka.
In 2017, he launched Omutsu Johokyoku to share information about adult diapers. He plans study sessions and online seminars attended by healthcare and care professionals, family caregivers, manufacturers and other specialists. For sessions on urination, bowel care, skin care and positioning, he invites doctors, nurses, rehabilitation professionals and researchers in each field, learning alongside participants from the perspective of diapers.
He has independently organized more than 200 study sessions, with over 8,000 attendances.
From 2024 to 2025, he served as Deputy Representative Director of the Japan Welfare and Medical Fashion Association. He worked on planning adult diaper events, sharing information, and collaborating with companies and related organizations.
He stepped down from that role on November 24, 2025, and now focuses on adult diaper sales, selection support, lectures, training and information sharing.

In 2019, the Asahi Ward Toilet Beautification Committee, which he chairs, received the runner-up award at the fourth Japan Toilet Human Award.
In 2025, as Deputy Representative Director of the Japan Welfare and Medical Fashion Association, he contributed to O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO and the International Diaper Forum at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and the Continence Care Equipment Exhibition 2025 at ATC.
That year, he also participated in planning O-MU-TSU MUSEUM at H.C.R.2025, an introduction to adult diapers at the International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight.
The O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO press release, for which he handled public relations, received the Influence Award at Press Release Awards 2025.
He also shares information about adult diapers through speaking at seminars organized by healthcare and care organizations and companies, and through coverage in specialist publications.
