On 28 October 2025, we announced that the press release about O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO had received the Influence Award at the Press Release Awards 2025.
The award announcement attracted a strong response, ranking No. 1 in PR TIMES’ “Trending on Social Media” chart and receiving 10,763 reactions on Facebook.
O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO was a diaper-themed event held at EXPO Hall “Shine Hat” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan on 24 June 2025. The venue welcomed 1,900 people and was fully booked through advance reservations.
Around 400 people helped make the event possible, including diaper and underwear manufacturers, supporting companies, sponsors, ambassadors, advisers, performers, models, photographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, nail artists, costume makers, interpreters, sound and lighting crews, reception staff and backstage teams.
We also sincerely thank everyone who attended, shared information on social media, and reported on or covered the event in Japanese and international media.
Our representative, Hiroshi Yagi, contributed to planning and running O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO as Deputy Representative Director of its organizer, the Japan Welfare and Medical Fashion Association. He also worked on writing the press releases and sharing information.
We are delighted that an initiative built with so many people over approximately two years reached a wide audience. We hope it will be remembered even 50 years from now as an example of a diaper event of its kind.
