At CareTEX Osaka ’24, Hiroshi Yagi spoke on the basics of diaper selection and supporting independence in continence.

On October 9, 2024, Hiroshi Yagi appeared in a specialist seminar at the ninth CareTEX Osaka ’24, held at INTEX Osaka.

Organized by Boutiques, Inc., CareTEX Osaka ’24 was a care industry trade exhibition held over three days, October 9–11, 2024.

In the care products course on the first day, October 9, Yagi presented “Learning from Cases: The Basics of Diaper Selection and Support for Continence Independence—For a Secure, Comfortable Life.”

Drawing on cases encountered through diaper delivery and Omutsu Johokyoku (Adult Diaper Information Center Japan), he explained approaches to selecting diapers based on each person’s condition and living circumstances. He also discussed seeing diapers as assistive products supporting continence independence and everyday life, rather than merely products that contain waste.

We sincerely thank everyone who attended the talk and the CareTEX Osaka ’24 organizers for this valuable opportunity to speak.
