[Special Event] “Redefining the Value of Diapers: Thinking about Future O-MU-TSU” with Kei Hirabayashi

On April 12, 2024, Omutsu Johokyoku (Adult Diaper Information Center Japan) welcomed Kei Hirabayashi for an online seminar, “Redefining the Value of Diapers: Thinking about Future O-MU-TSU.”

Hirabayashi combines welfare and fashion in his work toward a society where everyone can enjoy dressing stylishly. In September 2022, he realized a fashion show featuring only wheelchair models in Paris during Paris Fashion Week.

Drawing on these activities in fashion, he encouraged us to reconsider conventional images and roles of diapers and explored possibilities for “future O-MU-TSU.”
