On 31 August 2023, Omutsu Johokyoku (Adult Diaper Information Center Japan) welcomed Kurihara of Aron Kasei Co., Ltd. for an online study session, “About Portable Toilets: 50 Years of Anju Technology.”

Aron Kasei launched a portable toilet as a continence care product in 1972 and offers care products under the Anju brand.

The session introduced portable toilet types, functions and product features, using examples such as Juspita (ジャスピタ), Rakuzo-kun (らくゾウくん) and Select R (セレクトR).

Portable toilets need to be selected according to the user’s build, physical condition, transfer method and installation environment. We learned how many years of improvements continue to be complemented by new features and ideas.

Participants submitted many comments and questions, creating a lively exchange. There was so much interest that we did not have time to cover everything.

Thank you to Kurihara of Aron Kasei for the presentation and everyone who participated.
