On 23 June 2023, Omutsu Johokyoku (Adult Diaper Information Center Japan) welcomed Raita Yano of Hiroshima Memorial Hospital, Federation of National Public Service Personnel Mutual Aid Associations, for an online seminar, “Develop Natural Bowel Habits: Comfortable Bowel Movements for a Longer Healthy Life.”

As Chief of Gastrointestinal Surgery at Hiroshima Memorial Hospital, Yano treats colorectal and anal conditions and runs the bowel function clinic established in 2020. He also works on consultations using the metaverse and other initiatives.

The seminar introduced lifestyle habits that support bowel function and approaches to developing natural bowel movements.

Even when diapers are used, understanding bowel function and stool condition is important when considering products and care methods.

Thank you to Yano and everyone who participated.
