On August 4, 2026, Hiroshi Yagi served as a lecturer at the FY2026 Yabu City Support Professionals Study Group Training Session, held in Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The theme was “Thinking about Social Continence: Diapers as Assistive Products Supporting Independence.”
Social continence refers not only to the physical ability to control elimination, but also to being able to manage toileting appropriately within social life. The session explored continence care that supports each person’s way of living, with diapers understood as assistive products supporting independence.
Thank you to everyone who attended, to the organizer, Yabu City Community Comprehensive Support Center, and to the Yabu City Support Professionals Study Group for helping make the event possible.
