Diaper project activities, including O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, were featured in NHK’s domestic broadcasts and international media.

On September 29, 2025, NHK General TV’s Retto News broadcast the activities of the organizing Japan Welfare and Medical Fashion Association nationwide.

NHK’s international information service, NHK WORLD-JAPAN, also featured the activities, focusing on O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO, in an English-language article.

O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO was a diaper-themed talk show and fashion show held on June 24, 2025, at EXPO Hall “Shining Hat” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

Eight major diaper and underwear manufacturers participated, and 31 models walked the runway wearing “diapers of the future.” The venue’s approximately 1,900 places were fully reserved in advance, sharing new possibilities for diapers with audiences in Japan and overseas.

Our representative, Hiroshi Yagi, contributed to planning and operating O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO as Deputy Representative Director of its organizer, the Japan Welfare and Medical Fashion Association. As an adult diaper specialist, he worked with diaper manufacturers and the media, and handled information sharing and media relations for the event.

Coverage through NHK WORLD-JAPAN, as well as within Japan, provided an opportunity to share the possibilities proposed at O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO with the world.
