[Online Event] Environmental adjustments in continence care, with Tadao Uchida

On December 11, 2023, Omutsu Johokyoku (Adult Diaper Information Center Japan) welcomed Tadao Uchida, manager of Sugoka House Care, for the 17th Share Communication session, held online on “Possibilities and Challenges of Environmental Adjustments in Continence Care.”

As an assistive products specialist consultant and continence leader, Uchida works on recommending assistive products, home adaptations and improvements to living environments.

He discussed looking at toileting not only through physical function but also in relation to the surrounding environment, including living spaces, routes through the home, and assistive products such as grab rails.
