On May 17, 2023, Omutsu Johokyoku (Adult Diaper Information Center Japan) welcomed physiotherapist Akinori Kasuya for a special online event, “Creating Places That Feel Right: What Weak Ties Can Nurture.”

As Representative Director of Sync Happiness Co., Ltd., Kasuya works mainly in Fuchu, Tokyo, on home-visit nursing, home care support and places where local people can gather. He is also a director of CancerX.

He discussed loose connections between people and creating places where people can relate across different positions and backgrounds. Several commentators also joined, contributing their experiences and perspectives to the discussion.
