[Online Event] Wheelchair basics for getting to the toilet, with Kenji Iwanaga of Kawamura Cycle

On February 9, 2024, Omutsu Johokyoku (Adult Diaper Information Center Japan) welcomed Kenji Iwanaga of Kawamura Cycle Co., Ltd. for a Share Collaboration session, “Wheelchair Basics: Supporting the Journey to the Toilet.”

Alongside wheelchair basics, this session explored the manufacturer’s ideas and approach to making products—topics people rarely have the opportunity to hear about.

Together with participants, we learned to view wheelchairs as assistive products that support movement to the toilet, and the importance of considering each user’s physical condition and living environment.
