On 17 April 2025, Home Medical Care College, an information platform on home healthcare, published the feature “Continence Care at Home Series: How to Choose Diapers,” explained by Hiroshi Yagi, representative of OMUTSU Delivery and a physical therapist.

Based on the idea that diapers are assistive equipment that supports independence, the article introduces knowledge for selecting diapers according to a person’s physical condition and living environment.

More layers of diapers and pads do not necessarily mean better care. The article also explains how to avoid unnecessarily complicated combinations, using the perspective that “combining diapers and pads is about subtraction, not addition.”
