On 26 January 2022, Omutsu Johokyoku (Adult Diaper Information Center Japan) welcomed Chiaki Sakakibara as lecturer for an online event on “Comfortable Bowel Movements.”

Sakakibara works in bowel care as a Doctor of Health Sciences, nurse and continence adviser, and serves as Representative Director of the Japan Unko Culture Society (日本うんこ文化学会). She also trains POO Masters, who learn knowledge and practical approaches to bowel care.

She introduced perspectives on comfortable bowel movements and the importance of understanding bowel function in daily life and support.

The event welcomed 129 participants. Thank you to Sakakibara and everyone who participated. We also look forward to POO Master activities spreading throughout Japan.
