On February 26, 2026, we welcomed Ms. Suzuki (鈴木光絵) of LAC Healthcare Co., Ltd. for an online seminar, “Learning from the Nordic Countries: Practical Points for Using Transfer Equipment.”

As the second session following our previous seminar, she compared approaches to transfers in Japan and the Nordic countries and explained key points when using transfer equipment.

Transfers are also involved in getting to the toilet and changing diapers. This was an opportunity to learn approaches that help both the person providing assistance and the person receiving it feel secure during transfers.
