On November 27, 2024, our representative, Hiroshi Yagi, spoke at the fourth TEAM EXPO 2025 thematic session on care and welfare for older people and people with disabilities.

Co-hosted by the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition and the Kansai Innovation Center, the event used a hybrid format with in-person and online participation. The organizers told us that they had received more than 200 registrations.

Yagi presented O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO, then being prepared for the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, together with Kei Hirabayashi, Representative Director of the Japan Welfare and Medical Fashion Association.

They explained the aim of creating a diaper-themed talk show and fashion show that everyone could enjoy and use to think about diapers as part of everyday life, regardless of disability, age, body shape or gender.

Masashi Nagai of the National Federation of Care Service Providers also presented the activities of its Expo consortium.

The thematic session helped us make new connections with many people working in care and welfare. We sincerely thank everyone who participated at the venue or online, and everyone who created this valuable opportunity.

LET’S EXPO is a project supporting people who find it difficult to attend the Osaka-Kansai Expo because of age, disability or physical circumstances, through both physical and online participation. Its concept is “Let’s go—with those who had given up.”
