Hiroshi Yagi Presents at the First Academic Conference of the Japan Unko Society

On November 10, 2024, we participated in the first academic conference of the Japan Unko Society (日本うんこ学会), held at LOFT9 Shibuya, where Hiroshi Yagi also gave a presentation.

This was the society’s first academic conference, held to commemorate its tenth anniversary. The “Unkore Almost Tenth Anniversary Festival” took place at the same time.

Hiroshi Yagi presented the Asahi Ward Toilet Beautification Committee’s efforts toward communities where people do not face toilet difficulties when going out.

Through the conference, we encountered diverse activities and ideas relating to bowel movements, the intestinal environment, toilets and diapers. We also exchanged ideas with people who share an interest in these fields and made many new connections that may lead to future activities.

Thank you to the organizers, speakers and everyone we had the opportunity to speak with.
