- Skin Problems Inside Diapers (IAD) and Preventive Care That Care Workers Should Know
Adult diapers include pull-up pants, tape-fastening diapers and incontinence pads. Materials, breathability, absorption speed, feel against the skin and other features vary from product to product.
Rather than choosing solely by absorbency, it is important to consider the user’s physical condition, toileting movements, skin condition and living environment, as well as the caregiver’s circumstances, to select an appropriate product.
Diapers are more than consumables: when selected and used appropriately, they become assistive equipment that supports daily life and independence.
